The components to be cleaned are loaded on the
dunking platform & the platform is immersed in the
cleaning bath. Dunking movement ( vertical
reciprocation ) is provided to have relative
movement between component & cleaning bath.
• Simplest & cost effective.
• Used for intermediate cleaning or pre-cleaning.
• Effective for parts with complex shapes & intricate
passages.
• Air agitation can be accompanied with dunking for
